Mary Finnigan has been contacted also Bill Liesegang from Appendix Part One.
Some more artist names have been given, one is Mox. Tim Goff was the DJ and other people involved were Chas and Liz Lippeat.
There are now plans to have a plaque placed on the Bandstand in Croydon Road in 2009 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Beckenham Free Festival.
Will keep you posted.

Does anyone know if the rumor is true that there was a watching brief at the development in Beckenham Road where The Clock House Pub used to be. The reason for this brief is because when the WW2 hit the cafe in Beckenham Road not all the bodies were recovered and any remains were being looked for.

Does anyone remember Coxs Bazaar at 98 High Street. Opened sometime in the early 1900s as a toy shop later named Coxs Bazaar. Wooden toys and coffins made in the workshop behind.

Update.
So far Angie Bowie, Comus and Keith Christmas have been in contact.
Juniors Eyes, Oswald K and a local band from Penge called Appendix Part 1 featuring Bill Leisangang, Neil Holmes, Alistaire, Lovelock and Robert Jackson were due to play but there is no record of them performing. Does anyone know if they did?
