Anyone know of a 60s/70s Beckenham/Penge based band that played in the Three Tuns?

Bill Leisegang was in Appendix (saw them at Bromley Tech around 1973 or 74) Bob Suffolk was a mate from 3 Tuns and also played in original line up of Fabulous Poodles. Now residing in US.

At party at Perth road five years before Comus lived there and at the same house where a character called Steve Hills used to live, I had my first colourfull experience due to a spirit called whiskey. Like a lot of kids back in those days Steve was an occasional visitor to Cane hill asylum and Roger from Comus I thought was nutty as a fruit cake.

At the Tons when Kevin Ayres and his band played one memorable song 'Falling in Love again' Kevin didn't seem to want to play having just arrived form Holland then straight to the gig.. an unimpressive gig with few punters and no stage , which was a good thing really the state he was in he could have fallen off . RIP Kevin Ayres from Canterbury ,most enigmatic yet charming bloke you could ever wish to meet.
