The original poster of the opening night of The Drum, Parish Lane, Penge on the 17th September 1966. It shows our band, The Unattached supporting The Herd. I also have a couple of photos, possibly taken at this gig, so will post them at a later date. Attachments:

Hey, I already AM OLD!!! ;D Were you actually there on the night? Let us know what you can remember! I don't remember much about our gig, musically, only that we played the opening set and the first number being Sh-La-La-La-Le by the Small Faces... I can remember being determined to play the first musical note ever played at the club, which I did with the opening riff of that song! We only played covers so it was good to see Pete Frampton up there with his own songs... I always knew he'd become a star. I also recall being mused at Andy Bown's makeup case, something I wasn't used to and beat a hasty retreat from the dressing room! Of course, this was to become the norm in the so-called 'big time' music industry, so he must've been kool after all - he must have been as he's still going strong with the Quo, after all these years! Good on him.

Herne, I am looking at the very poster on my wall as we speak, and it has just occurred to me that we are now LESS than a year away from that being 50 years ago! Scary.. where did it go?
