Does anyone have one preferably from the early 60's before being taken in by Bromley.

Yes. Is there anything specific you want to know?
Estate agents used to give them away and copies appear from time to time on auction sites. There or in junk shops you can also find old London A-Zs (search for "London atlas"). The post-WW2 editions usually go out as far as Beckenham; earlier ones may not -- check for mention of suburbs. Finding the actual date can be a problem. Beware of people who are tearing them up and selling individual pages at exorbitant prices.
Old maps can also be seen on request at Beckenham and Bromley Local Studies Libraries.

I still have a copy of The Borough of Beckenham Official Guide; it isn't dated, but I think it's from the late 50's or early 60s, because it refers to the West Wickham library "recently erected" - and that was in 1957. There is a fold-out street-plan at the back.
