I understand that a v1 flying bomb caused damage to Beckenham Maternity Hospital in Stone Park Avenue along with other houses in Stone Park Avenue during the second world war. Does anyone know the street numbers of the houses impacted.
Best regards,
Trevor

There were no casualties so they are not recorded in the The Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The only place that you will find answers is if you go to Bromley library and go through the Beckenham Journal microfilms from June 1944 where it is almost certain to have been recorded. They may still have the actual newspapers in the reference part of Beckenham library up the stairs.
You could try the Bromley museum at Orpington where they had a large map showing where all the doodlebugs fell.
