Attached are photos taken by Cliff Watkins on Monday 18th October, 2010. www.beckenhamhistory.co.uk/BowiePlaque2010.JPGThe plaque's return to the Three Tuns is due to Cheryl Curr (onetime BTCM) for rescuing the plaque from builder's rubble when the building was changed from pub to restaurant/flats and to David Vevers (current CCARA chairman) for having the energy to retrieve the plaque from Bromley Museum and interesting Zizzi in refixing it on the Three Tuns. Cliff Watkins role was limited to showing the CCARA committee a few scenes from the DVD film made by Brett Allen of Editpoint of the Bowie day at the (then) Rat & Parrot on 6th December, 2001. He reminded the CCARA that they funded half of the cost of the plaque back in 2001 The photos show David Vevers (on the right) and Zizzi managers at the above mentioned celebration on Monday.
